A child is a child
That's what my name means. It's also a river in Japan, but I haven't deciphered that meaning yet
My grandfather named me. This was in response to some people's overwhelming preference that my mother bear a male child
But alas came I in all my female glory!
In response to the nonsensities of such mindsets, I was donned Omono
Because you see regardless of gender, a child is after all still that, a child
I don't know if grandpa would have pegged himself a feminist, but for the times that was some Beyonce pregnancy posing women celebrating statement. At least that's how I like to imagine it.
I'm a Nigerian born, Californian living actress, writer, dancer, student, (inconsistent) yogi, motivational seeker and much more
Welcome to my journey
